Infant Baptism

Please contact the  parish office several months before your desired  date to schedule the baptism.

Baptisms are celebrated during any of the weekend liturgies or immediately after the following liturgies:

Saturday 4:00pm at Saint Joseph, 5:00pm at Saint Scholastica

Sunday 11:00am at Saint Joseph, 11:30am at Saint Mary

First-time parents must complete a baptism preparation class.  The classes are usually held on the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm.

If the parents are not members of Christ the King Parish, they must submit a letter granting permission to baptize from their home parish.

Parents should chose one or two Catholic godparents who must obtain a sponsor  letter from their home parish. The second godparent may be a baptized member of another Christian denomination.
